About him
Most people who meet me like me. But I've not been lucky in finding someone to be there to the end. Can you change that?
My chief interests are writing, literature, the arts, running, culture, travel and the natural world. I'm not into politics, especially identity politics, or sport.
My philosophy is to use your time well and try to connect with others even if you sometimes enjoy solitude. I eschew any kind of censorship and take the "sticks-and-stones" view of such things. Ultimately I say; "challenge everything".
About his ideal match
My ideal woman would be a great conversationalist who loves books and animals. She must enjoy both going out and staying in and not lean too far either way. It wouldn't hurt for her to enjoy exercise too.
She must be willing to compromise and adapt if I have objections to something. She must be plain speaking and tolerant of eccentricities and the occasional faux pas.
Anyone who insists on getting her way all the time or would put pressure on me to conform need not apply.
