About him
I'm always open to trying new things and new experiences, and I want to find someone who is the same. I can be a bit introverted at times but I am trustworthy, empathetic and loyal to people I trust and like.
I am genuine, true to myself and my own person. I don't hide behind trends or what's popular, I have always been a proud geek and I always will be.
I have mostly geeky hobbies, including Warhammer 40k (including the modelling and painting), gaming, writing and reading and film. I am also a huge fan of history and have just this year joined a re-enactment/living history group. I also enjoy hiking and exploring.
I try to have a positive outlook on life; I can't control most of the things that annoy or worry me, so I am working on letting go of those annoyances and fears.

My ideal match would be someone who also enjoys quiet nights and weekends as well as being out and about.
I want to find someone who is understanding and supportive, even when things get difficult and wants to work as a partnership when the going gets tough.
I am looking for someone who wants to try new things and experiences and to share their hobbies and is interested in sharing in my hobbies or at least trying them.
To me, a relationship works when both people can be partners as well as individuals. Trust is absolutely vital; secrets will hurt the other person more than being honest will. Both partners being supportive is also key; we all have our struggles and a relationship will only work if both sides are willing to support and help the other when things aren't going so well.
I want to share my life with the right partner, I want to find someone with similar interests that will get on with my friends and family and I hope I will get on with their friends and family as well as enjoying their interests whilst also respecting that sometimes hobbies are an escape from the day to day.
